andrade - #34/50 is on ebay right now at about $30. I suppose it will go in the 40-50 range so I'd be looking at 75-100 in trade or something that sells in the same range on ebay. If it's basketball I'd be interested in Garnett stuff mostly, more specifically autos of KG.

Andrade-Well, since it doesn't book yet that's the only reference I have. If you were hoping to steal it for $10 from me in the hopes that I wouldn't check you missed your opportunity. I realize this isn't ebay, but when a card doesn't book it's the best gauge of value. If you want to wait until it books then hit me up again in a month or so. If you wanted to make an offer on it you had the opportunity, you missed it. I'm not going to take less than I can get for it there. If you don't like ebay then don't use it. If you want a card before it books, expect that it will be used as a reference.

iverson-I accidentally put the sweet spot pack price, the SPGU pack price is 25-30. Sorry about that.

I love when people use ebay as a guide cuz i like to respond to it like this....Lets say since you collect KG,will use him...lets say you have a KG jesery or auto that books at $40...it sell on ebay for 3-4 bucks...is it safe to say then that certain item is only worth $8??? All ebay is,is a guide on how bad people want a certain card. Its also a quick way for people to obtain cards that arent avabile to them.As for me not likeing ebay...i hate it..thats why im not there and over im here...

This will be my last response on ebay.

If a card does not book, either because it's a new release or because it's a short print then that is the guide that most people, including myself, will use. Generally speaking, cards tend to sell in the 50% of bv range on ebay. Granted, that is not always the case as Pujols, Garnett, Kobe, Roethlisberger etc all sell at or near bv and in some cases above. I am not asking you for cash, I am not asking you for an exorbitant amount. You asked me what I would want in trade so you could assess your interest. I gave you a number and I gave you a reference I used to try and quantify that number. If you don't like it, that's fine. Would you have felt better if I had just said. "I'm looking for $80 in trade."

I am not using ebay as a guide for any other deals I do. If I have a card you want and it books $40 and you have a card I want and it books $40 then we can trade straight up. However, if I have a card that doesn't book and you want it and you want to know what I want for it, I am going to use every reference available to try and get a reasonable number to use for value. Including cards from similar sets that have the same autos, same gu or same numbering. If you don't like that, wait til the book value comes out and deal then.
