    CHIT-CHAT FF: Week 10 Wrap

    New poll on league page

    WEEK 10 WRAP

Some classic games this week, most revolving around the game of the year (as commentators are calling it) between the Pats and the Colts. The teams in position to pull away faced a set back and the teams starting to slip regained their footing. 10 out of the 12 teams are either 6-4 or 5-5...should make for an interesting playoff push!

    Recap of the Match ups

Novacaine @ Dwarves - 76-77 going into the fabled Sunday night game. The Dwarves had Welker put up 90+ yards, but no TDs. The Reggie Wayne only put up a few more yards, but also had 2 TDs...and Maroney threw in another TD for good measure. The Dwarves drop back to 5-5 and the Novacaine move up to 5-5. Novacaine also take home a share of the TE of the Week award for Brent Celek's 10 points.

Hellbillies @ Ramrod - The Game of the Week, hands down. 53-51 going into Sunday night and the Pats/Colts decided this one as well. What better way to decide the game than Peyton going against Brady! Brady gave Ramrod the early lead, but Peyton and the Hellbillies came roaring back. In the end, Peyton and Brady both put up 28 fantasy points...but just like the real game, Peyton came out just a bit ahead. Ramrod gets pulled back to join the logjam at 6-4, while Ash just won't go away sitting just two games back of the top spot.

EFFECT!! @ • PABS!!! - The match up of the league emphatics. The Slaps had to deal with Ced Benson's injury and Vincent Jackson posting his worst game of the year by far. On the other side, Chris Johnson has taken it as a personal challenge to get the Truckers back in the playoff race, averaging 32.3 points per game the last three weeks. Vince Young may be the best thing to ever happen to you Jermz! The Truckers drag PABS back into the pack, while pulling themselves up into it at the same time.

That Thing @ The 'Horns - Whatdyaknow...the old LT showed up! 20+ fantasy points used to be his average, but this was the first time this year LT has eclipsed the 20. Miles Austin and Rashard Mendenhall, on the other hand, seem to be coming back down to earth. LT, Warner, and Houshmandzadeh handle That Thing on their own, the 'Horns should have given the rest of the team the day off. Somewhat surprisingly (no offense), That Thing takes home it's first Worst Loss of the Week trophy.

Blunts @ Pillagers - Another close match up, but this one was decided by the MNF bra burner. The Blunts needed Ray Rice to get them 11, he got them 15. Against the Browns, that's considered a failure, but it's a W for the Blunts. They do take home Worst Start of the Week for Marques Colston posting a -1...but give him a break, it was against the defensive powerhouse St. Louis Rams...ummm, yeah...The Blunts also take home a share of the TE of the Week award for Kellen Winslow's 10 points.

Victors @ Stratusfaction - The Ravens D/ST posting 24 points against the mighty Browns was just icing on the cake, Dallas Clark and Austin Collie failed to pull LA back into this game on Sunday night. Another two teams sitting at the 6-4 mark.

15 for Ray Rice was perfect for me....just enough for me to win this league, and to avoid a loss in another league...If Rice had reached 25 points, which I thought he would, I would've lost in my other league

In Colston's defense, he had the flu all week...and his -1 came on a fumble where he was diving for the end zone...oh well, that's why I took Randy Moss in round 1...MOSS IS A FREAK OF NATURE!!!!! I've had Moss in at least one league every year since 2001

I hate games like that....one of my fantasy nightmares...if that's possible.

I finally got a positive trophy.

This is the most competitive league I've ever been in. Three weeks left and 11 teams are fighting for a playoff spot with only two games separating 11th from 1st. I know I have to win out to get in.

By the way, do three teams from each division make the playoffs or is it the division winners + the next best four teams from either division that make the playoffs?

well it looks like i am bad luck to running backs.... Ronnie Brown is out for the season... before that is was Leon Washington.... If Ricky or Steven Jackson go down i may play without RBs the rest of the season as to not end someones career
