Help! What case to buy?

Here recently, through some business acquaintances, I met a guy who can sell sports cards by the case, for wholesale. He is fully licensed, and everything is legit. I have asked him, if he would sell to me for wholeasale, and he said that I could buy some stuff from him. So...with my lack of long term collecting experience, I was hoping to get an opinion on what my best bang for the buck product I should buy? Assuming, he can get ahold of anything still in print or available. I was hoping to buy 1 case, and spend in the $400-$500 range. (Wholesale) I'm obviously not going to be able to buy anything real high end for that kind of money, but want the most value/hits that I can get.

Any product from any year!!!

Check on 07-08 SPX, with 10-hits per box and the redemptions should still be good might be a good choice. I believe it's a 10-box case as well. Durant & Green Rookies!!! :)

08-09 Murad. A few redemptions will be unfulfilled by Topps, but it's none of the big name guys. Good for hits, good for set-building, with the variations, minis and the black-bordered mini parallels, and nice 1/1s, silk parallels, etc.

Thanks for the suggestions guys! I like the ideas so far, but have already busted alot of Murad. I probably want to stay away from Topps products as a whole, becasue there isnt an oppurtunity for Kobe,Lebron, or Durant autos!
