Topps redemption replacement
Pulled a redemption for a demetris nichols 07/08 bowman chrome rookie refractor auto,received this card instead 06/07 quincy douby bowman sterling autograph card # 86 I know the nichols was numbered to 599 the douby is not numbered but of course topps says it has an equal value.I'm not up on basketball as much as I should be basketball guru's is this a decent replacement let me know thanks Steve

Douby just got cut and is no longer employed in the NBA.

Woo-hoo thanks for the information realreodeal,sounds like an awesome replacement to me.I guess Topps is still into screwing people on replacements,I've read the horror stories and now I just became one,oh well whatcha gonna do.

I'm no basketball guru but checked the price guide and the value of your redemption is $6-15 and the Douby you received is $5-12 if that helps. Sorry about topps screwing with a replacement!!!

Thanks for the information Jay520 I'm not gonna do anything not worth my time to haggle over 2 crappy redemptions,but it will be worth my time to stay away from topps products.Update I was bored so I emailed them a nasty letter just to see if I get a reply,it should be fun anyways I'll get 3 dollars worth of entertainment out of this card yet,take care Steve

Nichols isn't on any team either - currently is a FA...but, as for the replacement, doesn't appear to be equal to or better than, as replacements for redemptions should be...hope they send you something extra, even if it's just a numbered insert of a semistar...

Nathan I don't care if they send me anything I'm just trying to make it better for the next collector who redeems something.I really have a problem with their lowball tactics considering they no longer have a basketball contract and we all know they have better cards in their vault than a quincy douby bowman sterling autograph.
