    Question about Player Collections?

    Hi guys!

A couple of weeks ago I decided to start collecting a particular player (James Hardev james harden/jeff pendergraph studio rookiesn in this case). I have gotten to a good start in my opinion as I have most of his rookie cards and a couple of his autographs and a game used card by now. So I basically have the cards on which only the player collected is pictured. So my question is: If you collect a particular player, do you also collect his insert cards on which he is shown with more players on a triple or quad for instance? Let me know your opinion!

    Thanks, Ray

I collect any and all Kevin Garnett cards that he's on, whether it's just a KG card, or a KG/Allen/Pierce/Rondo or a KG/Kobe card (both of which I have ;-)

i collect everything (card wize) of paul pierce....... base, insert, parellel, gu'ed, patch and auto's. it is a lot of work trying to do it when you don't start collecting things in there first year. i started my pierce collection after he was in the league for about 7 years.
if it were me , i would go for everything

I dont know of many player collector's who would shy away from picking up a pc card that has other players on it...

I think the difference may be with dual/triple/quad autographs... you may shy away from a card if there are undesired player auto's on the card....

I pass on lot's of PC cards with other players on them.
Whether it's just a bunk player combination, weak overall card design, purchase price...
I've said it before, I'm NOT after every card ever made.

Dual auto with Scalabrine? Dual GU with Shaq? The entire 2009-10 SP GU run?
    No thanks!

It's up to you though Twelve.
If you like the card get it and if not well then pass.
