What is the difference between Nhl Center Ice and Nhl Network?

I’ve been doing ALOT of research on NHL center ice for Dish Network this year (07-08). And people are saying there almost close to having NHL network and there still wrapping up negotiations with the HD portion. Now NHL center ice is from indemand and NHL network is from comcast. On one site i looked at it said that Dish Network has announced that they will be using the NHL network with comcast. What is better NHLCI and indemand or NHL network and comcast?

nhl network is just one channel. all nhl all the time. obviously it's a good station. channel 215 on directv, haha. nhl network shows a couple games a week real time and replays a few after the fact too. some good original programming too. every night there is "nhl on the fly" which is like the nhl version of sportscenter.

nhl center ice is a package of channels that basically shows almost all the games every night. most in HD.

at least thats how it is on directv.

i complained about not getting versus this year and got both of the above mentioned for free all season :D

NHL Network is cool. The thing they did recently about the 50th Anniversary of THE Mask was cool. Also has good original programming like was said before. I was able to watch a college game recently too.

On The Fly is cool, but I wish there was more to it. Something like what MLB Network does, or even a NFL Sunday pregame show thing. I like highlights, but I need something other than just highlights. Break down some plays, talk about some behind the scenes stuff, crack a joke, poke fun at a co-host. You know, TSN.
