The Fastest Growing Sports In America

    http://www.associatedcontent.com/art...ca.html?cat=14

Please check out the article and let me know what you think! You can post here or on the article page itself.

I was going to post this in the article submission thread but that's only for people who want to be on the writing team... I am just looking for opinions from other sports lovers. Thanks!

Cool article. I think its interesting the cards have done well too. As we have seen guys rise and fall quickly in the MMA so we'll have to see if that keeps fans interested or turns them away.

The TV show helps the develop talent and make money so its a good system they have in place. I like checking it out, but $40+ PPV's almost every month can get expensive. I think it still has room to grow, what will happen when it peaks like we've see the other 'major' sports do will be the real test....and that may be many years down the line.

Good luck with your article writing.

Thanks! And you are right about the rise and fall of MMA artists.

I don't mess with the PPV's but CBS now has Saturday night fights. So, having it on a wide distributed television network really helps keep it in the spotlight and widen the fan base.

    Thanks for your input!

Nice article but no bowling mentioned?

Today, bowling is enjoyed by 95 million people in more than ninety countries worldwide and continues to grow through entertainment mediums such as video games for home consoles and hand held devices.

In the United States alone, I wouldn't say it was one of the fastest growing sports. It stays pretty consistent with the amount of people that bowl.

Thanks for checking it out Birdman! Maybe I will write an article on bowling in a couple weeks ;)

Yea....because kids, and America in general, is getting more and more overweight. And Bowling is the only sport that anyone, regardless of shape/weight can do.
