Well, 2 of my 3 favorite current players are on the Heat now (Eddie Jones and Shaq). I might have to jump on the bandwagon. Plus the LA flavor is heavy with Pat Riley, Randy Pfund, Bob McAdoo. I'll jump ship only if they rename them the Miami Lakers.

Great to see a Miami thread on this board. I was going to start one myself but I guess I don't have to now. I was really impressed with thier offense last night. All the starters got basically the same amount of shots and all got double digits in points. That is quite amazing! This is a TRUE team. Can't wait to see the game vs. the Cavs tonight!

I have been slow updating I will have the last two games posted tonight... They are playing awesome especially for a team that is almost all new. I thought it would take a couple weeks to get going together...glad to see it and the Lakers going down...dont want to be smart until the end of the season on who the Lakers should have kept but I am happy for the Heat!!!

OK time to get on the ball....
Last nights game was a good one.... Shaq is still hobbled and only played 27 minutes. He did have 13 pts and 8 rebounds but the star of the night and in all 3 games so far has been Wade. Wade played 43 minutes had 37 pts (career high), 12 assists and 8 boards. Butler lacked 1 point of all the starters having double digit points again. Eddie Jones was amazing also playing 26 minutes scoring 24 points on 5-7 from down town.. The Heat are now 3-0 behind Wades great playing. Shaq is happy to be on an unselfish team and when he comes back fully they will be a hard team to beat. The only way I see a problem is when Shaq plays more it will take away from Wades scoring but, I also beleive Shaq wants to prove he was the Lakers and will do anything to win a title this year.......
Through the grapevine news.... Alonzo Mourning is wanting to get a contract buyout in NJ and his top team to play for is the Heat.. They way he is playing I would love to see him as Shaqs backup or even do a twin towers occasionally as Zo has played some forward and handles the ball good.
