Climate change data dumped
Isn't this convenient?
SCIENTISTS at the University of East Anglia (UEA) have admitted throwing away much of the raw temperature data on which their predictions of global warming are based. And we are thinking about spending billions on a fraud? Cap and Trade based on data that has been "lost?"
It means that other academics are not able to check basic calculations said to show a long-term rise in temperature over the past 150 years.
The UEA’s Climatic Research Unit (CRU) was forced to reveal the loss following requests for the data under Freedom of Information legislation.

Seriously, what kind of science is this?
The data were gathered from weather stations around the world and then adjusted to take account of variables in the way they were collected. The revised figures were kept, but the originals — stored on paper and magnetic tape — were dumped to save space when the CRU moved to a new building.
So they changed the temperatures then through away the actuals...how does a "respected" scientist throw away raw data? What if they themselves decided one of their adjustments was incorrect, let alone just wanting to prove their hypotheses?
Obviously this doesn't disprove man-made "global warming." But I would hope it raises some questions, especially for people who based their opinions on this information and these "scientists."

Kind of funny how GORE has all of the sudden dropped out of some big wig speech about the subject on the 16th due to unexpected conflicts in his schedule.
