As much as I like Ovechkin, he should be suspended. Also if you didn't already know Corvo got cut open on the back of his leg by Alzner's skate

    Cool

I'm old school so I can't stand his style of play (not his scoring ability, his ridiculous routines). Would love to see him get ten games for a start. Then I'd like him to put his stick on the ice and let him do his "so hot" routine. He's an idiot!

Ovechkin always was and always will be a very reckless type of player. I give him another 3, 4 years tops before he ends up crippled.
Either by his own doing, or somebody else's.

In my opinion, Ovechkin got what he deserved. He went for Gleason's knee and injured himself as well. He's a great player, but he plays a dirty game that will eventually catch up to him because somebody is eventually going to retaliate serve him a severe injury. Don Cherry has been talking this for a long time, because Ovechkin chooses to play the way he does.

    thats if he isn't changing

in 5-10 years we will be discussing what he could have done if his career wasn't cut short.

one thing is for sure, if he continues this style, his days are counted in 3-4 years (like you said)

and i must admit, i am a fan of him

    Merci

finally... he's been suspended for 2 games... hopefully the suspension starts when he's healthy and ready to play and not while he's injured anyway...
