Very good point. My wife recently got into this and I love to give her crap about it. I won't let her near my neck anymore, tell her I'm afraid she'll try to suck my blood.
This whole Twilight phenomenon is pretty ridiculous in my opinion. I understand why women like it, because it's just so romantic and dreamy...but it's completely unrealistic. The woman who wrote the books did so because her husband didn't treat her like this...obviously. And I've tried to tell my wife, 99.9999999999% of men who are this romantic are only trying to get in the girl's pants...and once they do, they stop. She tries to deny it, but then I reminded her of how romantic I used to be....
A perfect example of how guys feel about this is how a lot of girls don't care for movies like Transformers and such because they're unrealistic. Same concept, it's just applied differently for guys and gals.

I was hid...er, standing casually in the bushes with my binocu...er, dog stalk...er, letting it use the bathroom...yeah, that's the ticket!
I've actually never seen either of the movies and have no intention to...I can buy in to alien robots and things like that, but some things are just too unbelievable.

They should just call it Twi-tanic, because all of that filth emanates from the same place and it all seeps into the same place.

My dad won the Twilight DVD as a contest prize.
I sold it and bought a pack of cards with it, of course. I'm such an incurable tomboy.

What's funny is that I explained to the hobby shop cashier how I wasn't a fan (Vintage Stock deals with other media like movies in addition to cards), and he said, "I don't think many other people are either since we have 7 of these Twilight DVDs already, but I'll give you $5 instead of the usual $4 for it since it's in shrink wrap."
