We've traded? I really don't remember that. Haha.
But thank you for the kind words, I just studied for a History quiz on Monday. I hope I can atleast get a C. In Biology I took a test yesterday and my Mom said at least shoot for a D. Don't fail it, I got a 64% on it I was very excited(I checked on Edline.com) and I told her and she said well you could have done better than a D.
I walked away, I thought that was best.

As long as you do YOUR best, and you know that you did YOUR best, that's all that matters...my brother is a freshman in high school, and was upset about one of his grades, so I basically told him that the bottom line is, if you gave it your all, and you still get a low grade, then that's ok...you've done your best, and that's all that anyone can do. Keep your chin up - things will work out for you. Everything you do now is a stepping stone in life to make you, you. :-)

I know this sounds a bit corny but if you don't experience a few rough times then you can't appreciate the good times.
I too have been in a slump lately and can sympathize with you. Just keep taking one day at a time and rest assured that things will get better.

Yep, I was married when I had that feeling but the divorce took care of that.
Also its true that time heals all wounds but no one ever tells you about the scar it leaves behind.

Your mom said at least shoot for a D? My parents weren't crazy about my grades and never once heard them utter those words. lol
as for the comment about "you won't use all that you learn in school" this is true, but school, whether high school or college is more about showing that you can do the work and perfect your learning process more so than knowing that exact information and being a whiz with it.
I was pretty much a C or B student in high school and I know if I ever got a D it was because I slacked on studying. Now there are plenty of different reasons why people do poorly in school. Could be from laziness all the way to something more serious. My advice would be to not question why you are learning something, but to question how you can learn it best because it's the job placed in front of you that you must complete, because no matter where you go and what you do in life, you will have projects set in front of you that you must complete. If you can't then you'll probably be unsuccessful at that job.
I'll also add that most problems that you have in high school will, in the end, turn out to be quite trivial once you get out on your own and graduate to a whole new work of problems and responsibilities. When you get stressed out, just take a break and do something that takes your mind off of things and then come back to it fresh. I know it always helps me to do that.
