    magnifiecent5762- Yeah the Doby is probable my second favorite of this lot, only to the Dimaggio. I bet he had quite a story to tell, being the second African American to play in the majors. Jackie Robinson (being the first) was always in the news and being watch. I'm sure your great uncle probably had a harder time playing in the major during that era. Good Luck on you collection..

    Thanks man. But yea. I was only able to meet him once before his death, and I was only about 7, so it didn't sink in much. But it was just amazin to be able to meet someone of his magnitude.
