    Card Prices

If you've read my Introduction Thread you know I don't exactly have any cards right now, but I also shouldn't assume you've read it but you get the jist of it now. But in the near future I plan on going to a retail store in the area and purchasing a box of cards.

So my question is where can I find prices on cards that I buy? Or how much they are worth?

Do you mean the cards value you get after opening the box I would suggest get a Beckett price guide magazine.

If you meant the prices you should pay on a box, Im not up to date on box prices sorry

I actually meant individual card prices, and I looked on Beckett.com but I cannot seem to find anything on prices there.

Don't hesitate to ask questions before buying to maybe save on mistakes. I'll help and sure others will too. Have fun!

What Random offered is a great starting point.

All good advice so far. To see the going rate on the secondary market for your cards (i.e. what you'd likely get for them if you sold them right now) check out closed eBay auctions or take a look at Checkoutmycards.com (COMC), and see what other collectors are selling their cards for. COMC also provides the beckett value of cards for sale.

Too see the going rate for boxes take a look at blowoutcards.com. They only sell boxes and depending on shipping, might save you a couple bucks if you buy from them.
