why do the new press pass autos of Dale Jr have that tacky sticker on them??

It is a fraud preventative measure.
Jeff Gordon and Brad Keselowski are two that come immediately to mind who also do it.
Whenever they sign cards the sticker is applied by them or a member of their staff to confirm it is an authentic auto.
I kind of like the idea.

i agree with Al, but at the same time it is pretty ugly. I pulled a Kes auto #/50 and it had it on there. Its ugly but i know why they did it.

It's done by request of the driver, Jr has been doing this since I believe 2002 and Gordon before that I believe.

I dont care for them one bit! I think that the card company producing has a Authinticty comfirmation on the back of the card already, confirming that its an authentic auto.
Thats good enough for me......puttting a sticker on them from what ever driver is a little much.
Ego's.....got to love 'em

I have a common card that I sent into Dale JR that also has that sticker attatched, along with a COA. Wierd why they are the only three that do it to my knowledge.
