    Pearl Harbor Day

Today is the anniversary of Pearl Harbor - it's been 68 years since that tragic day. The youngest that anyone who was in the military at that time would be is 86. Pretty surreal to think about it, as it seems like it happened so long ago, but in all reality, it was just a short time ago.

In a sense, Pearl Harbor is very similar to 9/11, so we all have a feeling of what it was like.

Very true...both were senseless acts of cowardism (yeah, I know it's not a word), and both will always be remembered as key dates in the history of the United States.

To a certain extent maybe. 9/11 was conducted under false premise IMO.

Pearl Harbor was a war attack. A strike against a military target. 9/11 was more on civilian targets. Pearl harbor did more damage on the ability to engage targets in the Pacific. If you have time or the chance read up on Pearl Harbor. Some very interesting accounts of the attack from both sides. There were a number of real Heroes that day
