I wish Sam Hornish wasn't still stuggling like he is, and unless he is getting Kurt Busch's hand-me-downs, his equipment isn't too terrible and he really can't use that as an excuse. I think 2010 will be the put-up or shut-up year for Sam.

However, Dario Franchitti never really got a fair shot. He was in junk cars, broke his leg and lost his sponsor not even halfway through the season. I think if Dario had three years of seat time and good equipment like Montoya had this year, Dario would be a respectable performer - probably not in The Chase, but top-25 maybe. I just don't think he had enough seat time or support. To call him a failure after half a season with no prior experience seems a little extreme. To be sure though, a full year of Nationwide-only should have been the plan instead of heading into Cup straight away.

I hope the Nationwide-only route pays off for Danica.
