    Help With Plaque Cards

    Hey everybody,
I was looking over the list of living baseball HOF members and my signed ROMLB collection and I pretty much have all of the reliable signers which is great but I still want to send ttm lol.

As part of my baseball collection I purchased about 50 plaque cards from the HOF this fall so that once I reached 40 balls I could make a complete plaque display to accompany a full display cabinet. This said I have about 10-15 extra plaque cards that I would love to send out ttm but have a few questions:

    1) What is the best way to send plaque cards postage wise? protection wise?
    2) Are there players that do not sign plaque cards? players that are better about plaque cards?
    3) Sharpie or ballpoint pen?
    4) I currently have a ROMLB ttm request out to Paul Molitor. What is the overall feeling towards "stacking" requests?
    5) Are there top loaders for things the size of plaque cards or something comparable?

Thanks for any and all help you can lend me on this. This site has always been top-notch and I wouldn't have 1/2 the success I have enjoyed without it.

I've had success with about 7 or 8 HOF Postcards, including Molitor. Definitely do Sharpie over ballpoint, the pens don't come out to well with the gloss on the postcard. You can get toploaders that size, though I sent out all of mine in a regular envelope, and have no problems. It's mostly been the usual supects I got through the mail with the postcards; Snider, Roberts, Irvin, Niekro, Fingers, Doerr and Kell when he was still with us.
