grab packs on ebay

Was just wondering how many people have boughten lots off of ebay that dont tell you exactly what you are getting.

And if you have, were you happy with what you got. What was the price ratio of what you got (bv) compared to what you payed (with shipping) and what did you get. Most of these also have a couple of cards shown to try and sell the packs, has anybody ever gotten 1 of these cards. What percentage of these do you believe are scams and what percentage do you believe actully give away what they say they are going to.

Also there are always auctions for older unopened packs. Has anybody ever tried these. and what percentage of these packs are older than 85. or do you usally always get 90 topps or the such that are completly worthless.

whay would anybody want 950 B.J. Surhoff's that are all the same card. only $99 for cards most people would give away.

I have purchased 3 & will not purchase any more. I got what I paid for I guess you could say but not what was expected. I was promised 100 basketball cards from various years & various makers guaranteed bv of $50. I got a bunch of commons & about 10 rookies that valued at like 3 bucks each. Rookies were like nobodies dude! Like 20 of the cards were Dee Brown. Do you remember that guy? He was pitiful but about the only star that was included. But if you look at the feedback they have apparantly someone is getting these awesome cards out of the lots. It just wasnt me I guess.

I bought 50 cards for $10 and got some good stuff. Obviously you won't get a mickey mantle or babe ruth but you will get some good stuff.

ive bought many and there was one person who had really good lots i bought about 20 and they were like $3 shipped i got a vince carter jersey a shaq jersey, t mac rookie, really good cards. but this was while back so i dont remember all the cards i got.

Im skeptakal about thoes dutch auctions...i honestly dont think ANY of them give away ANY of the cards they scan...it would be a waste of money...the ONLY way anyone would be stupid enough to put the $100-$1000 cards in a lot for $3 would be b/c they inherited the cards and no Nothing of their BV. A seller could easily make TONS off selling their good cards and selling all the crap in lots (which is what i think they do)...thats why i dont buy them.
