    1/1's Is the Price right ?

    Almost fell off chair when I saw what this auction went for

    The only difference between the 1/1 , and the other 9 copies (which I hold one of) is the faint gold trim on a few parts of the background.

    i would guess that you will only get a fraction of that price. i bet it is some crazt tavares or hedman collector. if you throw it on i wish you all the best of luck though.

    $700 is high, but that's what 1 guy was willing to pay, so he got the card. There are no high-end Tavares cards made by UD yet, we have to wait UD Ultimate Collection and The Cup (maybe UD Exquisite this year...) for next spring/summer. So, collectors have nothing else to buy licensd by the NHL/NHLPA, in few months you can expect a big drop once people will be in position to buy something nicer. It was the same issue with the Crosby cards few years ago... what is now the value of the ITG cards of Crosby? Once demand drop, prices drop.
