Am I missing something, or is a Jimmie Cup chase contest card worth a Gordon auto now?

thatis a big NO! If he wins the cup again, then the card might be worth it concidering the RU card you will get from the contest.

Even then, the RU will book for $30-$40 like it always does.

Well that will depend on how much of a Johnson fan they are and if willing to give up a Gordon auto. I would give up a Johnson auto in a flash for a Gordon because that is my driver.

Well, you can buy Jimmie Cup Chase RU on eBay for about $12 once they release....don't think you can buy a Gordon Auto for $12....

Yrah just about anyone would give up a 50.00 auto for a 150.00 auto

Add to this I've now received three follow up PM's trying to convince me to do it since it's not as lopsided as I think.....wow. Some people.

Doesn't seem right at all. Some people will try just about anything. Guess they may figure you may not know the true values of the cards and will part with it.

Makes me wonder if this is the guy from the football forum I WASTED all Friday and Saturday trying to trade his #/25 card for my #/10 card.

His card has a BV of $50.00, my card has a BV of N/A and none of the other nine have made it to eBay (although there has been one private sell from a LCS in Detroit for $100.00).

The guy offered me his card for mine PLUS he wants me to throw in $20.00.

anyways....I do not have a 2010 JJ Cup Chase, but do have the Field Car that I could easily trade for any JJ Race-Used with a BV of $100 or more...!!!!....lol....

Let me add to that, If I collected Robby Gordon I would trade a Jeff Gordon auto for it in a flash. To me price value doesnt mean anything to me. The people that I have tradded with can varifiy this.

Tell me, I have a Gordon showcase auto #/45 and books for 150. The auto of jeff #/25 from the same stuff books for 200. I understand that the one #/25 is a hardder pull but it is still the same auto. Now do you see why book value doesnt mean anything to me. And it shouldnt to evryone esle that is a collector. The card is only worth as much as one wants to pay.
