96-97 upperdeck help
i just got a card from the 96-97 upperdeck basketball set. it's #223 charles barkley base. the question is the border is black. i have just about every card from that set including the barkley and the border is gold. i've just never seen a black border before, any help would be great.

it may have not been stamped... there is nothing of the sort on beckett.com although it might just be i cant find anything either... i have a couple cards from 95-96 topps that have black borders, the names are black, etc because the gold printing wasnt stamped onto the card

Do you have a scan? Is there any serial # on the card present?

no there is no serial number on the card at all. this is really confusing isn't it?

ok, i finally found out what it is. with alot of research i found it's a misprint. the gold border did not make it on the card. the border before the gold is black. so, it's not an insert it's a misprint. i'm pretty happy about this a barkley misprint, awesome.
