07-08 OR 09-10 Exquisite?

Hey fellas,

Instead of blowing my money on 2 boxes of ITG UM9, I decided to buy 2 boxes of exquisite. The question is though is 2 boxes of 07-08 is selling for $400CAD (total) less than 2 boxes of 09-10 at my local store. Is the 09-10 worth the price premium, or is it just nothing but hype because it's the last hoorah from UD? Thanks-in-advance.

If I were u , I will keep the $$ & purchase some cards fm ebay (Exquisite)

I myself collecting NBA cards since 1992 (in Hong Kong) , have never opened even a pack of UD Exquisite , but now I have around 90 UD Exquisite autos / auto patch / auto patch or autoed Rc / dual autos / triple autos

It was so scared that for UD Exquisite boxes u can get some common autos which is worth only less than USD20 .......suck

Certainly if you have luck , u will also get MJ / Kobe / Lebron (or Mr Tiger for 09-10)

But the Luck is even harder to win 1st prize Lottory (Mark 6 in HK)

If you want to open some new products , I will suggest 09-10 SPGU

REMEMBER over 80% of autos in SPGU are suck ....if you like autos please ignore this post

But I myself / most of my friends in HK got quite good cards (including MJ / Kobe / Lebron jerseys) easily from packs , including myself , among my freinds we have got 4 LOGOMEN including Stockton (my friend) , S.Marbury (my friend) , Ben Wallace & K.Garnett (I got them )

It is cheaper in pack price , & I think it is one of the better products among the new UDs ....

Certainly I knew that 1-2 lucky collectors in Hong Kong got rarely good autos *like MJ / Lebron , but REMEMBER over 80% of autos in SPGU are bad

if it's a toss up between the older exquisite and the 09-10 exquisite I'd go with the older one and save the 400 bucks.....chances of pulling something big like a jordan, kobe, or lbj are gonna be about the same anyways....plus i'd rather have the rcs from 07-08 since all the rcs in 09-10 are in college unis.

Also agree with the guy who suggested that it's better to just buy the singles anyway, but of course buying singles doesn't not buy you the thrill of opening a box. =)

I don't know if there were redemptions in 07/08 (before I got into basketball cards), but you might want to check and make sure (if there were) they are still valid. Would suck to get a huge pull that they won't honor after you paid so much for the box.

Thanks for the feedback. After thinking about it at length while working today, I have decided - for now at least - to stick with ITG UM9. The price premium for both exquisites are not worth it, given the fact that the high-end LBJs, Kobes, et al of the world are probably gone by now. I've had very bad luck with buying old UD boxes...yielding only mediocre results. I suspect the same will happen here.

Don't waste your money on That Crap Product , why would you pay $150 + for all Jersey's that sell for jack shizer on the secondary market.

If you are going to Bust, bust Exquisite or at least ultimate SPGU is the worst product to put cash on to pick up lots of jersey's and creased ones at that.

Also if you call them logomen some out 14 what a joke that totally took the edge of the logoman Card i would not pay $$ for those cards .
