That gave me an idea! The splitter pins! The things that connect the splitter to the car. Also the rear wings could be a possibility. Although I do like the driver name sheetmetal idea.

parallels should be limited to tow levels; 1:pack parallels and SN to a nice number, with Legends and Showcase being the only sets with SN'ed cards in every pack.

As for RU'ed, I think almost everything usable has been made into a RU'ed at one time or another...engine parts in UD product 10 years ago, the RU'ed parallel insert set in VIP in 2008, etc...

How about an oversized piece of sheet metal that's autographed by the driver. I don't mean on the card, but actually on the sheetmetal. Limited to like five or ten. I think Press Pass did a good job with this when they put the autos on pieces of tire from the Series 2.

About the press plates, I think this needs to be a redemption inserted into packs. The person that pulls the redemption would send it in and recieve the front & back plate. That way the person has the set, I think the collector would feel this is a better value than just pulling say a back plate.

I also agree that the letters should be put back on the parallels and the Ebay previews.

Also the number of parallels needs to be limited to one or two, I also agree that four and five parallels of the same card is to many.

I think there needs to be less 1/1's, the market is getting to saturated and they are losing their value.

Last fall Dale Jr ran a special paint scheme at Talladega with the fans names on the car and pit banner. How cool would it be if Press Pass could obtain these and make cards with the persons name on them. I don't know how they would go about doing it, but it would be cool. How would you like to see your name on a card?

how about getting sam bass involved in someway. let him design some cards, turn some of his work into cards,include him in an auto set,maybe buy some of his work and make an artwork patch card of some sort. it just seems sam has done alot for nascar and deserves to be included somehow in nascar cards.

Just get Kyle Busch to send in his guitar that Sam painted from the Nashville race. Press Pass could put that on a card, it's already in pieces anyway. LOL

no-3 1/1s for each card is insanity-it will make collecting impossible-thats not a good idea-they already got enough dumb press plates to get-especially with legends and showcase-that drives me nuts.

My suggestion is to stop with so many parallels-it makes it way too hard to collect-limit it to just 1 or 2 at the most-like with element and eclipse-its way easier and about the right amount.

i agree with this to the fullest!! in all sports it is rediculous for any player/driver collectors!! i hate how topps makes like 30 parallels for every card. its absurd. but nice when (if) you get the low numbers.
