Hello all,

Thanks for the support for the injustices done over the past week or so. I have made this my new home and hope that Rima and the other mods can keep the gutter trash out of our hair and that we can get back to great trading and hobby discussions. In case any of you wondered I am NOT a belligerant loose cannon. However, I do call them as I see them and with Beckett, sorry to say I called them. I personally plan to leave beckett to the scammers, liars, bad traders as well as the 8-10 people who have their nose so far up scotsmans (Mod's) rear that you can look down his throat and see them winking at you. I am not going to name any names but the arrogant and "holier than thou" people I speak of have gotten, in my eyes, as bad as the "Juniors" and "Jboldins" of the board. I will be back one more time after my ban is up when the "Grand Finale is performed and I will say with much certainty that it is a performance that will not be soon forgotten. Gone are the "Junior" posts, bad trader posts, the infamous Jboldin/mroethlis. "Lover's Quarrels" that pretty much knocked everyone's IQ down 5 or 6 points. Also gone are the equally annoying "Thanks Beckett for the boards", "Posting here is not a right" and "People should behave themselves" postings that make me want to hurl. I know how to act in a public forum of any genre. I chose not due to the fact that I was not going to let scammers, crooks, thieves, and "whine-a$$es" run things without my two cents. It wasn't that I didn't know how, it was that I decided not to. That board isn't worth my good behavior and with what looks to be the "Cream of the Crop" from Beckett heading over here, an imminent decline and "Rise of the Scammers" will take place. Maybe one of these days I can hop on a plane, sit in front of Big Ben, share a few pints with our "Moderating Doctor" Mr. Scotsgirl and tell him exactly what I think of his arrogant two-faced "Jolly Good" demeanor and maybe toss him into the Thames for good measure. Again, it's great to be here and look forward to the time here and look forward to seeing this place eventually dwarf the Beckett slime-shack. And as for Mr. Paul Smith (Captain ****less) and "Dr. Dip***t" Scotsgirl. Here's a salute to you. Your're "number one"!!!

I agree, it looks promising so far, but we need to keep it up in getting the word out and getting these boards on topic of football cards and trading. I already don't even think about Beckett and haven't went there in 2 days. Screw 'em. I like Tater's reference to them as the trolls. As far as I'm concerned that "trolls" reference goes from Scotsgirl and Oregonwhinea$$ all the way down to the pond scum of Junior and GOORGPUNK.

Hi Atrain,
I found my way over here as well. What was going on over at Beckett simply wasn't right. I think things have totally been handled incorrectly and that basically the inmates are running the asylum.
Glad to be here and maybe finally we can all do what we came for-to enjoy the hobby.

Man you went a little far on that one. While agree withmost of what you said what did Brett and Paul ever do to you man? Not everyone on beckett is scum and you know that.

Actually a good question MC. For Paul, have to assume it is because Nancy Drew here thinks he’s the Moderator (maybe he is, maybe he isn’t, its’ irrelevant as THE MOD DID NOT give him his suspensions.). Could just be he doesn’t appreciate English wit. As for me, most likely originally stems from a ‘beckett AIM’ chat w/the moderator last week. He was carrying on irrationally and I called him on it. I’d repeat what he called me but that’s not important. Point is, in the end it seemed that he finally was catching on. Apparently not, after reading his latest work here. Guess a simple, high, looking for a better place to enjoy my hobby experience wasn’t sufficient.

ATRAIN, get off the damn soapbox. Your post speaks of ‘all the injustices done over the past few weeks’? Yet, if you don’t mind me quoting your email (funny how things like that find their way to me) you said “While I will speak for myself and say that yes, maybe my actions warranted a suspension, the reasoning behind my actions is a result of a much bigger problem on the Beckett.com message boards.” So let me try and understand. You KNOW why you were suspended, and you feel that your actions warranted said suspension, yet it is YOU who are the victim of injustices? Believe me, it is a great thing when people look out for one another, whether it is cons, rip offs on ebay, w/paypal, with bad traders on Beckett or other trade sites. You would be hard pressed to find a single person on Beckett that doesn’t agree with that statement. At the heart of the matter, though, is you were wrong, you overreacted, and you can’t accept the reality of the situation. Nobody’s perfect, everyone makes mistakes. Yours was in laying the blame on Beckett.

I’ll say it one last time for you: “NO WHERE on Beckett (please correct me if I’m wrong) does it say that THEY (Beckett) will moderate, review, enforce, etc… trades between members? People say, “then why do they have the trade boards?”. Well, because if we didn’t, the hobby talk thread would be overflowing. “Why do they allow trade talk?”. Because that is part of the hobby, a hobby which sites like SCF, HI, Beckett help to promote. Guess what, I don’t like the actions of those who are less than desirable traders. However, I will NOT hold Beckett accountable for the accountability, or lack there of, in its’ members. DO RESEARCH! ASK OTHER MEMBERS!! CHECK THE DAMN TRADER INFO THREAD!! READ THE OTHER PERSONS POSTS!! It doesn’t take a rocket scientist to make a safe trade. One thing I will be asking of Beckett (seeing how I’m so chummy with the moderator and all) is for them to post something on the trading boards so people clearly understand how the process works.

In your post above, your hoping that the moderators here can keep the gutter trash out. HELLO, did you read what you wrote before hitting the submit button? In your graceful departure, you plan on leaving Beckett to the ‘scammers, liars, bad traders, blah blah blah. Yet again, your missing the boat. The message boards on Beckett (as with anywhere) are a place where you can make a connection with other traders. GUESS WHAT, it isn’t Beckett’s accountability that you enjoy your experience there. It is up to you, see, back to that ‘accountability thing again. When are you going to start taking some? Personally, since you’ve asked, I’ve made some incredible connections to great traders, and people, around the country (and globe). People you share personal stories with, hobby successes, hobby failures. How have you done?

Again, you state in your post, ‘You know how to act in a public forum’. My free 2 cents, (since you know I have nothing more important than butting in where I’m not needed) your delusional at worst, misguided at best, to think your behaviors come across as anything other than irrational. Please, if you’re the Cream of the Crop burn the field.

In addition, where do you get off threatening another member? Does it take threats to feel like a real man? Can you actually imagine flying off to England? Do you daydream about it, does it make you feel like a real boy Pinocchio? Again, if you aren’t the ultimate gutter trash for a comment like that, I really don’t know what is.


Why did I make this post? Because the only way to deal with ignorance is to meet it head on. Can’t wait for your triumphant return to Beckett on the 24th, should be quite the show. Oh, and please, don’t bother dispensing with the ‘But out, Mind Your own business’, I’ll drive up and throw you in the Connecticut River comments.

Thanks for your comments. We obviously disagree and express oursleves in different ways. And there will be no "triumphant" return. Once the 24th hits I will no longer comment on or about the bad traders and scammers. I will deal with the hobby and trade in a very neutral way while throwing my 2 cents into some off topic. I have shown to be a great and honest trader and if people decide not to deal with me because of differences of beliefs and personality conflict then that is their choice. I for one do not hold such feelings and, knowing you are a fair and good trader/seller would deal with you at anytime. As far as I'm concerned Junior and the other scammers there can do their worst for all I care. I'm done with that part of it. While I dispise and condemn such action, everyone is on their own.

And yes, while I know what it was that got me suspended, it was a result of the lack of control and moderation of trading and scamming that is done on those boards. And I don't accept this "Beckett is not a trading site" BS. They either need to remove the trading boards if they can not control the injustices there or they need to do the right thing and manage it as such. You can not provide a trading haven and let "lawlessness" reign.

As for the "threats" on Scotsgirl?? They were not threats at all. More of fantasy I would admit. I have no intentions of actually doing such things, but it doesn't hurt to dream does it. Sorry, but I can not show respect or likeness for a gutless cowards who can not admit the obvious. Believe me, in the contacts and info I have Scotsgirl IS the mod and nothing could change the fact otherwise. And yes, he DID give me my original 24 hour suspension.

I am not looking at getting into flame wars and bashfests here. That is why I have moved over here, to get away from such things. While we have an obvious differences in thinking and believing and I will leave it at that. You know my AIM and email if you wish to discuss it further, but I really have nothing more to say on the situation.

BTW, thanks for not responding to my emails about the fantasy football league a while back. I have no idea and had no idea at the time about what was/is going on with it. Guess I was not wanted, but that too is your perrogative ;)
