    Cam Neely 89/90 Topps ?

I found a Neely 89/90 Topps card looking through my Neely collection yesterday. It has the 89/90 design with the blue border top and bottom, and the marble blue sides. It has a different picture of Cam than the regular release base card on the front. The back has the letter K in the upper left corner, and the stats are for scoring leader (88/89 season) for the Bruins. I'm thinking it's from a box bottom, or the back of a food product (Kraft?). I don't remember where I got this card, probably Ebay back in the 90's. Who ever cut the card out of the box did a professional job with four sharp corners and sides. What would be the value of this card? I know it falls in the oddball card category, but it's has to be a very rare card in this great condition.

A picture would help greatly when it comes to identifying the card.

The card is a box bottom card. As for value, in 'by-the-book' terms, the card has been trimmed and will have almost no book 'value' because it has been altered. But, in 'common sense' terms, the card is worth whatever a collector will give you (it, like most of the cards from those years, doesn't book over a buck).

Here are pictures of the card front and back. Hopefully I did this right, don't upload much.

Your right Fred, a card is only worth what someone is willing to pay you. A Neely card is not much to someone who dosen't like him or collect his cards. That's to bad with this card as far as value goes. It's worth more than a buck to me, lol.

I always thought the box bottoms from Topps had much sharper images than the base cards. They really are nice if their owners took care of them (which it looks like your Neely is exceptional).
