    09/10 UD Game Used Product...

Boxes go for about $180, yet all the product sells for dirt cheap after opened on Ebay. Doesn't appear that much of the product has value as singles. Scares me as I have a box coming in the mail for Xmas from the woman.

It's a fun product to open, but probably overpriced. The autos are usually junky, and they have a tendency to stick horrible players on otherwise awesome multi-auto cards (Bobby Brown is everywhere).

The game-used stuff is actually really nice in my opinion. You're really looking for logo men, tags, and patches in this stuff. I really enjoyed the two boxes I opened, but I didn't come close to making my money back.

Thanks for the reply. Hopefully on XMAS I hit something. And do you know what size magnetic holder the autos and game use are so I can be prepared? (Point wise)

Yeah most likely you'll get some junky auto (everyone got them). But I've also seen boxes where the person gets two Jordan GU's (most likely duals or triples with other people) and maybe a Lebron GU. And if you're really lucky, you can pull the quad tags or logomen which are all very nice. So good luck on your break! If you get to scared you can always resell the box on ebay, but I bet your woman would probably be curious to see you open it though.

Does anyone know the size of the magnetic holders for this particular product?

With all the flaws in SPGU, I still cant help buying box after box. If you like hits, you will love the product. Autos are crappy, though I was pleased with my Retro Rookies of Dominique, Laimbeer, and Daugherty. My biggest issue, which is what most people have, are the factory damage on some of the game used, namely on the 6 and 8 swatch game used cards. It never fails...usually the damage are on the better cards. Pulled 3 or 4 base GU cards that were in mint but you can get your life as soon as I pulled a Labron, Kobe, & Durant game used, there was a huge ding on the side of the card. Still, its like a can of Pringles: "Once you pop, you cant stop". :)

Personally this is just one more product killing the game used market, seriously, card companies need to come up with better ideas, and start making game used a bit more tough to pull.
