This is not going to be fun for player collectors or set builders. Correct me if I'm wrong but is that not the largest number of /99 RCs we've seen?
Habs fan and collector! Current PC's: Nick Suzuki, Cole Caufield, and Lane Hutson...., and of course...

Certainly agree with you there, but I was still really hoping Benn & Myers would only be /499 instead of /99.

Myers and Benn really proved themselves at the beginning of the season. Had they not played so well I think they'd be /499

Those guys are usually the fillers, so they're likely waiting to get as many rookies in there as possible (the 1-gamers, the backup goalies, etc.) before the deadline.

So did Lucic back in 07-08 and he still ended up a /499'er.
If nothing else, this will surely spark some demand for busting wax of this product.

It is a solid list, but why is Mikael Backlund a Level 4 when he hasn't played an NHL game all year? Don't get me wrong, I'm happier if his Ice RC is /99 as opposed to /999 but its likely he won't see the NHL until the beginning of the 2010-11' season at the earliest. He is probably #3 or lower on the list of potential call ups for the big club.
That said, glad to see another old Kelowna Rocket in Jamie Benn made the cut, well deserved!

I can't believe they are considering Stalberg to be /99, and yet Ryan O'Reilly from the Avs isn't. I definately don't think O"Reilly should be /99, but he should be ahead or at par with Stalberg. Stalberg had a great pre-season and that was it.

With no star Rookies in Edmonton this year.... the fillers are what I'm waiting for!
I've seen that Ryan O'Marra is going to be included in SPA (and maybe something else) and I'm sure Deven Dubnyk will get into some product......but I'm really counting on Ice to give me Colin McDonald, and Dean Arsene!
