First off. The movie looks really stupid. I could not understand why it was being hyped so much. The previews are on TV every 5 seconds. I recently found out why. Its apparently just a huge Global warming Ad. I had no interest in seeing it before I knew that and now I really have no interest in seeing it. I wish Hollywood would pull its head out of.........and start making good movies again.

Hopefully it's not too political...I think the movie looks great. The blue people I'm not so much a fan of, to me not very appealing, but the graphics just look amazing. And this movie is being hyped so much because (as the ads say) it really will change the way movies are made. I'd like to hear some reviews too.

I actually expected higher than 82% on the Tomatometer. Most of the bad reviews point to a weak script and storyline. I'd say when putting so much time, money, and effort into CGI and pretty, it's easy to let the story slide a little.

I am going just because, that is what I typically do on Fridays and it should look great in 3-d. However, not looking forward to a global warming agenda or the plot that looks like it is about making a few political statements as it's main focus. Either way, should be good for visual and sound.
