    Bdrr -- excellent point!!

    I totally forgot about the Pistons and that big young dude they just drafted.

    However, I do not believe the youngster will be a force yet for the next year.

    but down the road, in 3 years or so, the Pistons will be the team to beat in the East

    Pistons need offense (much like the Dodgers). Pistons have great defense, but you gotta score more than 70 points.

    No way can the Piston defense hold the Lakers / Spurs / Kings / Mavs to 70 points for the entire series.

    And that youngster can't be expected to be a scoring force right away

    Kinda crappy how he got the Mavs hopes up though. They thought they were finally going to get some defense in the low post.Oh well, just save all the money they can so they can sign Kobe next offseason.

    Kobe's not leaving L.A. after this season.

    He will be well paid by the Lakers, who can pay him the most, by league rules.

    Any other team won't be able to pay him the max
