That's good...I think fans should have a say - not necessarily the final say, but a say - in who gets into the HOF. Hopefully something gets switched around so this can become a reality!

I'm fine with the fans having a voice as long as it's gonna be controlled somehow because I don't want Yi Jianlian entering the Hall of Fame a year from now . . .

^^^
qft, as long as there's fans looking to vote Yi Jianlian or the entire Rockets team to the HOF, i don't know how this could work. Not sure how'd the HOF people be able to control voting without ticking someone off.

Fans absolutely should NOT have any say in who goes into the HOF....if they did, even if it was a very minor say, there would ALWAYS be biased votes. Fans care about their own teams/countries/etc. too much...they shouldn't have a vote.

^ Agree with that too. I am very biased against Lebron and Kobe and secretly wish they would never be inducted into the HOF, even though they by all reason and logic should be.

yeah, leave it to how its always been....seems like as much as others have said this or that has not gotten in, it makes no difference to us and usually there are reasons why. and i am sure in those inner circles, they have their reasons why. the system has worked for so long, let it be and the HOF should focus on intergrating fans to understand the HOF more since from what I last read, not many people visit it that much.
