dude, on almost every single thread of mine you've commented on all you do is say my card is fake without knowingly 100% if it is or not. it's fine for everyone to have an opinion, but usually people also say "nice other cards as well" or "just my opinion". just saying next time i'd appreciate it if you weren't so negative on everything. if you dont think they were cool cards or anything, just dont comment if all you have to say is negative. but everyone else thanks for the input and opinions!

The Jordan is a fake, and a bad one at that =(
First of all, what you have there isn't a Certificate of Authenticity as guaranteed by a legitimate procurer, it's an "opinion" of authenticity supposedly done by an autograph expert. He leaves no name, and only a front name "Sig City" and an e-mail.
If you googled either the supposed company or the e-mail you will come up with nothing. On top of that, the fact that "Michael Jordan" is handwritten (is that white-out?) in what appears to be a child's handwriting should have been a turn-off.
The Wade is a nice card, the patch is fantastic, but the Jordan is 100% fake.Last edited by bdrr; 12-20-2009 at 04:55 AM.

hey
bdrr, im emailing the link now to get more info on sig city, that is a smart thing to do, thanks. but on the other hand, ive looked at other jordan's signed on a card with a real coa on ebay, and they don't look much different than this one at all. my signature doesn't look the exact same on everything i sign, and i'm sure it's the same with all athletes. and it still looks just like others that were on the bay with real coa's. but the sig city link i did email, so hopefully i'll get an email back with facts. thanks

I've posted before on these "COA" autos from no-name authenticators. The "J" in your Jordan sig isn't fluid. the wave just after the crest is one sign it's a forgery. Another is the "M". MJ angles the "M" to around -30 to -45 from the 6 o'clock position. Yours is almost straight down. Just giving my opinion on it man.
From Wayne Bray, a convicted forger:
Any certificate of authenticity can be made to look great. You can make your own holograms. You know, all the people that say they have the three-step authentication process where a witness of their company witnesses the autograph and then its hologram is affixed to the item. And then it's witnessed being put away or whatever, that's a lie.
from fomer US Assistant Attorney Phillip Halpern:
upwards of 50% (and perhaps as much as 90%) of the items comprising this market are counterfeit.
If the athlete has an exclusive contract with a company, that's who I'd buy it from directly - especially a major name like MJ.

Yep,
And that's why certified cards sell well - you know they're real. And forgeries are easier to spot.
