Thanks guys, really appreciate it. It would be nice to see someone - anyone get an NHL license to compete with UD. I just feel like a complete fool cracking wax now as a lot times you get shafted on the inserts, cards are damaged, etc., and you have no other choice. And with UD's new policy where you have to email them first, but they don't respond to you, well that just means now your out of luck. when it comes to product. It's really sad because I LOVE cracking wax, but last year was the final straw as I cracked 2-3 cases of various product and when all was said and done I only had buyers remorse. Nothing in there really thrilled me, so I knew that the wax cracking part of the hobby was done for me. And honestly, tracking down regular cards just doesn't have the same thrill because everything looks the same and is just boring. I truly hope UD gets some competition just to shake things up a bit.

read around on the other sports forum message boards. no company is without their share of complaints. exact same complaints about UD but in other sports and with other companies. exclusive or not, people will always complain. UD only bears the brunt of it in hockey because they're really the only ones around.
while i don't have a problem with others getting a license (it couldn't hurt), what i'm not looking forward to is all the complaining that's sure to follow when everyone is asking for it.Last edited by Crater_Satori; 12-27-2009 at 11:50 AM.

as long as Panini doesn't get involved, I'm cool with Topps getting back in the fold...I can't stand ITG though
