Not cool Slitz. This is a forum where people look for help...how would you like a response like that for one of your questions?

Kabir.... You can go to the Post Office, find a box that would fit a football, put the ball in it, ask the postal clerk to weigh it (or they have that flat rate shipping box if it fits). Then find a box that will hold the football and return box (make sure you fill out the return box address as your own). IT won't be cheap. So, find a box, that fits a football...make sure all postage is paid on it and address is filled out to you. Then put that box and football in another, bigger box and address it to player. I'd probably add a sharpie that you would want on it as well, like a silver or gold sharpie marker.
Sorry if this sounds a little confusing but I just got off of work and I'm exhausted.

I sent a ball to Theismann. I asked first if I can send it and send him postage money for the return. He said yes so I sent the ball in a box that fit and believe it came out to 8.00 or so. So $16 total I got a signed white panel reguilar size football by Theismann. Now if a player wont do the shipping part for you becuase its a hassel or what ever you need to weigh out both boxes and package the one inside the other(just like a 8x10,card what ever) and send it on its way

One other way, a bit easier for both parites, is sending a large return address lable. I find that using the computer sticker 8.5 X 11 paper works best. I just fill out the sticker paper like you would address an envelope. Then when I go to the post office to ship I ask the cost. Whatever it is I purchased that amount in stamps. Then I put the stamps on a piece of sticker paper cut to the correct size.

This way when they open the box they can just take out the contents, sign, and seal it back up, put on the label and postage. Sometimes I will include a roll of tape incase they need it. Then they can just put it at the mailbox and the postman takes it like a letter. At the post office they print a standard postage label but the charge is $0.00, this way it has the barcode and ships like all packages.

It sounds a bit difficult but if you think about it it saves shipping, and the reciever dosent have to asseble a box or go to the post office. I've never had a problem this way. Actually I've had failures on various sport balls in the past when I would send two boxes.

I've sent a few taking the air out of the ball....putting it in a large padded mailer, and having the same mailer in there for return. That has worked well. I then reinflate it when it gets back to my house and the sig always looks fine.
