    Advice Needed (Selling entire collection)

    Greetings fellow collectors!

I've been in the hobby a long time, but have not really made any purchases since 2001 and recently decided it was probably time to part with my collection.

I'm very hesitant to go the eBay route simply because I don't want to break things up...I'd rather liquidate in one move rather than list hundreds of items and pay hundreds in listing fees alone.

So, I guess I'm looking for suggestions of people, places, businesses that specialize in bulk buys. Some of teh highlights of my collection include:

    --UD Baseball sets from 92-95
    --Finest Baseball sets from 97-99
    --Finest Basketball sts from 96-99
--Bowman Chrome sets from 2000, 2001
--HUGE Manny Ramirez 500+ Lot of RCs, regular issues, refractors, autos and other inserts from 1992-1999
    --Small Rolen collection from 1995-99
--A few Starting Lineup figurines from the mid 90's (Lindros, Jagr to name a few)
--Tons of refractors, misc inserts, RCs and Bowman Chrome doubles (1999-2002)

--Graded cards include: Adam Dunn BC RC, Hank Blaylock BC RC, Peyton Manning Leaf Rookies and Stars RC, Manning BC RC, Pat Burrell BC RC and BC RC Refractor, Tim Hudson BC RC Refractor, Austin Kearns BC RC Gold Signature, Ken Griffey Jr UD RC

And tons of other stuff. I only collected Bowman Chrome from 1999-2002 so I'd say 25-30% of what I have is from those collections, including some gold cards, #d refractors, etc.

If anyone has had a good experience anywhere OTHER than eBay, that's what I'm looking for first and foremost.

Thanks for reading and thanks in advance for any advice you can provide!

Sorry bout this, but i gotta say go the ebay way (rhyme). You can list your entire collection at once on the bay, but i would make sure you do a few things

    1) make sure you list it in more than just the "lots" section on ebay, the more you list it, the more people will see it.

    2) pay the extra $ to get it in bold and have it be a feature item

    3) be very specific AND very fague about your listing at the same time. Tell them the good stuff, but dont list the bad.

    4) Make it a longer listing, so more people can see it

    5) I would recommend a reserve price if you want a set amout atleast. Dont get too carried away on the reserve or nobody will bid.

There are probably other things that you want to take into consideration when listing your item, just make sure when your done, you feel like you came out a "winner" not a fool.
