    Question 2003 Topps Chrome Question

    how can you tell the variations in the set? looking at to knicks sets and there are 2 RC's with variations?

    In 2002/03 Topps Chrome introduced foreign language cards of the foreign rookies in the NBA due to the growing number of foreign players. I like the idea but granted, it can be confusing.

    The foreign RCs have a B designation. In Yao's case his name is in Chinese characters on the front of the card. If you look on the back of the cards the lettering(writing) will be of that player's native language.

    The Knicks rookie that year was Macej Lampe from Poland.
