NHL.com has just named Devils goaltender Martin Brodeur its MVP of the Decade. Brodeur, who on Monday broke the record for career shutouts with a 4-0 victory over the Pittsburgh Penguins that gave him 104 for his career, passing Terry Sawchuk's mark of 103, backstopped the Devils to two Stanley Cups, in 2000 and 2003. He became the winningest goalie in league history on March 17 of last season, when he posted his 552nd victory, surpassing the mark set by his boyhood idol, Patrick Roy.
