Chelios staying with Wolves
Chris Chelios is staying with the Chicago Wolves of the American Hockey League, the team announced on Sunday.
The 47-year-old defenseman has signed a second professional tryout contract with the Atlanta Thrashers affiliate after joining them on Oct. 20. The terms of the deal were not disclosed.

Good for him. There was talk a while back that Atlanta wanted to sign him (when they had injury troubles), but he balked at it. My guess is that he's hoping to sign on with a contender later in the season, and get one last run at the Cup, as a 6th or even 7th defenseman.
