Fanboys - Movie (2009)

Hi! I think it's time to ask if anyone's seen this very underrated and not-so-popular movie of 2009.

In 1998, this is a story of 4 die-hard Star Wars fans who live their lives working at a comic book store and never seeming to grow up from their sci-fi dreams.
However, another pal has actually grown up and has taken over his fathers car dealership and lost those dreams. As the group of friends find out one of their friends is dying of cancer, they all try to make a final journey for him, something they've been planning since they were kids. A trip from Ohio to California to sneak into the Lucas Ranch and sneak a view of Episode 1: The Phantom Menace, as they're afraid their friend won't live long enough to see the movie.

Along they're journey, they encounter several stars to the comic-book world, Star Trek fan enemies, as well as other strange characters.


The reason i bring this movie up is that it was a movie that was very underrated, wasn't in many theaters at all, or for long either.

I think it's the best road-trip, buddy comedy film I've ever seen, and my #1 movie of 2009.

I saw it.

It was okay but not great where i would suggest people to go see it. It's for Star Wars fans.

I actually disagree and would say it's for anyone who's a good fan or who has a good imagination and likes buddy comedies, but yes some of the jokes are inside to star wars

I saw it and I'm a huge Star Wars fan too,but it pales in comparison to Eurotrip if you consider that a road trip movie.

As far as the movie itself goes,it was ok. Not good,not bad,just ok.
