What is everyones opinion on Lineage?

It's really cheap at blowout right now (57 bucks) and in my mind I'm thinking it's a hit or miss on the autos but you get some nice inserts and rookies. I like the design of the base and you have a chance at pulling some sick stuff and is the only product that I can afford with MJ autos available for a pull with a design I like. What does everyone else think???

I busted a box with a fellow member (eddiejr) who was in NY recently. We got killed on the box ($125) but it was an ok break- The big hit of the box was a D-Will Die Cut base auto ($15BV)

The design is cool and you'll get a bunch of MJ inserts, so if you're going for either of the sets its not a bad box to grab cheaply-

lol, it was closer to $150 (but thats cuz we got in in downtown manhattan, shoot it cost Joe 30 something dollars to park for less than an hour)

i actually bought a couple of boxes at a card show a few days after meeting Joe (for $50 a box) & my big hit was also a deron williams auto, oh & a derrick rose RC

they are nice cards & it is a fun set to try to put together
if u do buy one & are looking to put a set together ive got a buncha doubles i can help u out with

I know the hits are pretty hit or miss but there is some real nice autos mixed in there

thanks :). Considering doing a like 6 month period of only busting wax so if I decide on that I will for sure bust a box

UD Linage was a good products , as promise to get 2 autos per box

why I said it was a good products is :

1) the Jordan inserts is useless now , when the new product release , it can be sold around USD5 / piece (Jordan Legend card) & USD1 / piece (Mr June) , but it dropped to USD3 > USD2 > USD1 , now less than USD0.5 (can only sell in a big lot) , for Mr June it becomes like a base card now

2) all the auto is sticker auto, also its VERY HARD to get some Great Players' auto

i.e. it is like gamble (win or loss) but I saw most of the collector(s) in Hong Kong for opening this products are loss , except one who got a Bill Russell (die cut auto) , another lucky man got a M.Jordan auto (sold via ebay) as well

for the other inserts it is useless ....also no one wants them (trash)

I think the price USD57 not a bad price , but I will consider other choice (like 07-08 Hoops Hot Prospects) which is more easier to get Kobe / Lebron / MJ autos or auto jerseys , also u hv chance to get Big Rc auto patch Like K.Durant as well , finally u might get some jerseys which is useful in trade)

Its my own opinion , not defence on UD or anyone .....

BTW my experience is that I opened 1.5 box & got 3 autos , one is common (forgot name) one is T.Prince (traded) and the other one is a mystery (buyback) redemption card , which UD send me a V.Divic on card auto (forgot the serial , but it should be less than 20 with cert.)

yeah, agree with Danny and like you said, the autos can be hit or miss....but the majority is a miss and you get a bunch of base cards, subsets and etc....give it a shot though you know, because you might get something good...and the RC's are always nice to pick up.
