You don't have many PFs on your list...I'd recommend Karl Malone, Larry Bird, Tim Duncan or Kevin Garnett.

Here's my take on Legends, and it might be a little morbid. Get the older guys first. When Wilt died, his auto prices tripled overnight. Maravich fetches over $5,000 when an item rarely pops up. the most recently deceased HOFer is Al Cervi. Not a big name, but he obviously won't be signing anymore. If you're collecting HOF'er autos, get them while they're still signing. Also, I'd stick to on card autos. There's no telling how many Rusell, Magic, Bird, and MJ stickers UD has stashed away. They could release them years after the legends are gone.

Anyway, here's who I'd go for:
    Bill Russell
    Oscar Robertson
George Mikan (deceased and his autos are drying up, but his autos are still under $200 and he's considered the greatest pre-WWII basketball player)
    Bob Cousy
    Elgin Baylor
John Wooden (he stopped signing everything in 2008, so what's on the market is all that's left)

    Current players:
    Shaq
    Kidd

I had more time to think about this and now that I did.....if i were to look for a legend auto right now (besides bulls stuff for me) i'd try to find a nice on-card kareem abdul-jabar auto......he was unfortunately diagnosed with a rare disease and even though it is a manageable one, it can't be good for his future health if you know what i mean
