    Dropping the gloves.

I could be wrong but it has been about 2 seasons prior to this season that UD has created cards with a game used stick, and even longer for game used gloves and pads. How come UD doesn't create game used cards with items other than a piece of jersey?

The cost of acquiring those items couldn't be too prohibitive, but I'd imagine that building them into the cards might present problems for them. It would be nice to have more to look forward to than the usual GU jerseys, I'll say that much.

Good question. I can't imagine that it is really that much more expensive to cut up gloves, skates, pads, etc than a jersey. If they used them in some high end sets, the return should certainly justify the marginal increase in cost.

A signature gloves or signature pads set would be hot. You could get a much cleaner auto on a piece of leather from a glove or pad than you get on a jersey swatch.

Because gloves stink to high heavens and sticks get super sticky after their used

Naah, to be honest, IDK, it would be really cool though!
