eBay shipping from Canada question
I bought a card off ebay that was being shipped out of Montreal. I live in Buffalo. I paid for the card on 12/9. I contacted the seller a couple weeks ago, and they claimed the card was shipped and holiday mail was slowing it down.
My questions is, how long do you think I should wait before filing anything with ebay. I don't want to be a jerk about it, but I bought a different card that was also shipped from Canada AFTER this first one, and have had the second card in my hands for over two weeks.
Any suggestions/opinions are appreciated.

i personally wait 40 days on packages coming from the states before ido anything. Item shipping times can be very random due to customs When going from the US to canada and from Canada to the US. I personally find it quicker to get items from Europe than from the US. Basically wait until before you can no longer open a claim

I have the same problem as well. I bought a card on the 12/12 and he said it was sent out the next day. I find it a little weird as I've done trades and sent my cards and had the traders back before this card has even came yet.

Basically it is completely random. I believe i sold you a Kris Russel artifacts /25 through Ebay on 12/12 and you recieved 12/25 or earlier so that was quick. However i have had the same thing happen where the package has taken 2 months which is why guess some sellers have stopped shipping cross border(unfortunately one of my biggest wants is owned by a american ebayer who does not ship to Canada).

International shipping time can vary greatly. Sometimes it can be there in a week, and other times it takes a month. Give it a little more time.

Oh ha. That's funny, thanks a lot for taking the best offer on it. :-D If you want you could have them ship it to me and I could ship it to you. I'm sure you could find someone on here that would be able to do that for you.

Remember that customs randomly samples packages/mail as well so that can greatly impact shipping times.
I've waited a month several times for US shipments and also had them take a week. It's a crapshoot.

You also have to realize that this time of year there is a greater volume of mail. Therefore, it may take longer for packages to get sorted, etc., and to go through the mail handling system. This time of year you just have to have some patience with the mail.

Custom+this time of year= long wait... customs can be unpredictable. They can let your package pass right away or decide to look if it does really contain a hockey card.
