Press Pass kicks off the 2010 racing card collecting season in its normal fine fashion. The base cards are well-done, though nothing really new in the design. The set focuses on the drivers in the Sprint Cup Series as well as a look back at a lot of the rookies who appeared in 2009. Mixing things up a bit is the addition of a subset devoted to the event at Eldora Speedway. The 9-card puzzle series is a bit much for the first product of the year considering they are short printed to 1 per box. The gold parallels appear once in every pack on average and the holo cards show up once in every ten packs on average.

There are four insert sets to chase this year. By The Numbers (50 card set), Tradin' Paint (9 card set) and Unleashed (12 card set) all return for another go-around. A newcomer is the NASCAR Hall Of Fame series which highlights the inaugural class. This appears to be a continuing insert set that will stretch across many products (looking at the card numbering), but only 10 cards appear in 2010 Press Pass. On average, you will see 1 card per box. Also returning is the Cup Chase Redemption series. On the back of each card is a code that you enter on the Press Pass website. If the driver on the front of the card makes the Chase in 2010, you will win a special Cup Chase set featuring all of the 2010 Chase drivers. If the driver on the front wins the Cup Championship, you will receive a special race used memorabilia card of that driver from the season (as long as he is under contract with Press Pass).

There are many race used and autograph cards that can be found in 2010. The ever popular Burning Rubber series is back. Bunning Rubber features a race used tire from a race won by the driver pictured on the card. The card will notify you of the race track and the date of the victory.

Though released in 2009, 2010 Press Pass kickstarts the racing collecting season. You can look forward to receiving a full base set and a puzzle card per box. Another exciting elements are the Final Standings Hot packs. Each pack features a slew of number cards with other suprise bonuses. The set is vibrant and the HOF cards are a wonderful addition. If you are only after the "hit" experience, this is probably not for you. However, if you enjoy the collecting experience and a fan of NASCAR, this release is definitely for you.

Once again, I'd like to thank our wonderful sponsors at Press Pass for giving us the opportunity to open and review this release. For more information on all their products, be sure to check them out at www.presspassinc.com

He got a Johnson Cup Chase, Stewart & Gordon #eds. Three of the best in the business, so not a bad box at all.

Overall I have always been pleased about the Press Pass product although I think this year they went alittle more cheaper on the quality of the paper, seems even thinner then usual. Inserts breakdown goes both wyas. The Tradin Paint I think were fantatsic, but the Unleashed was the same as last year. No variety to them. A retro idea for the behind the numbers but with a better twist to them from back in 2000-2001. Holofoils showed same quality of paper stock as always but why the extra level. No need for it in this product, #/25? aauuuugh. Same thinking on the short print Chase Puzzle. Put it as an Insert set instead of the base set. That's one reason why the first set of the year appeals to most, it is easy to complete base set from a box. Great idea on the Hot Packs again. Autographs this year I think are the best so far for Press Pass autos, love the design. Even the RU'd, I think were vamped up this year. Love the Tradin Paint theme and better design on the Burning Rubbers. They keep getting better and better each year

Nice break and review. It could've been better, but it also could've been a lot worse.

Thank you Press Pass for providing this!

Nice break and review...some nice numbered pulls there...can't say I know who Reutimann is though...then again, I don't watch much racing. Thanks Press Pass!
