Bowman Draft Picks & Prospects is a solid set for the up and comers of Major League Baseball. There are numerous sets to put together. The actual base set consists of 55 rookies. You will also find set consisting of 75 prospects and 35 WBC stars. The design of the card is simplistic and designed to showcase the player. Each pack yield two Bowman Chrome cards which are the Chrome versions of the base cards. There are multiple parallel versions of each card.

Each box yields one prospect autograph on average. In some boxes, you will find the ever-popular AFLAC Autographs. The prospect autographs also have numerous parallel versions.

Draft Picks & Prospects is incredibly huge among the prospecting community. This year's version offers these collectors many opportunity to get their hands on some of the hottest young stars of the future. Though one autograph per box can be rough considering you will only see a refractor/parallel once in every four packs. Outside of that, there's nothing else to draw you in. This is also a worthwhile release for in-person or through the mail autograph collectors. The base cards offer a great area for signatures.

Pretty typical Bowman..they could probably experiment with their design tendencies a little more, but given how consistency is increasingly elusive with many card sets these days, at least we have something pretty reliable, I guess. The Reyes X-fractor is pretty sweet looking.

Nice break and review! Not a bad price for this either, although one hit for $70+ is probably too little. Now, if every auto was numbered, that'd be better.
