I just got off the phone with them regarding a card I need to ship in for replacement, they tell me that they won't get inventory of Black Diamond replacement cards for another 4 to 5 weeks...means I have to sit on this card for another month before it can get replaced, that freaking bites...

I had the same thing happen to me last year with my Mario and Stamkos quads. Both had nasty surface scratches and I had the joy of sitting on them for a good six weeks until I could send them in for replacement. Hope that the process goes well for you.

Nice card.. worth the wait. If you were planning on selling it on the bay you would get more for it now then you would in a month is the only bad thing.

nice pull still... we both went 1/1 on BD (I pulled a quad diamond tavares, not as nice as yours but mint) neener neener :)

Put yours on the bay regardless, yuo should get some nice offers

you know, I was thinking about doing that, but I wanted to know if someone would by it knowing it's damaged, but for the fact that they can return it to Upper Deck for a mint copy in return, would someone actually buy it ?...there are 3 or 4 ruby's/100 currently listed right now

I'm part of a group case break elsewhere that's going to be done this week...I bought 3 spots, and after the team randoms, I have the Islanders, Red Wings and Wild. I think if I get another Tavares regular version I will ebay this one.

I'd guess someone would buy it (in Canada) and move it at their LCS for profit. But who knows. Just provide great scans so the buyer doesnt complain.

I'm not in a super big hurry to move it though...especially if I don't get a Tavares in the GB...but when UD get's they're inventory and I get this one replaced, maybe I should have the new one graded...it should (theoretically) get a decent grade, and for BD to get a good grade is rare...
