Prediction Poll: Will Dale Earnhardt Jr. make the 2010 Chase?

It might look good to you to defend yourself or your driver(s), but at the same time it could offend the other person involved & start a fight. Sure to some, the best payback is just to do the same back to them. Take the high road in a discussion, and don’t keep adding fuel to the fire. for me the answer is no because at this point there are too many other teams who are stronger right now. I expect both Childress and Roush to be stronger next year, the other 3 Hendrick cars and the 2 Gibbs cars, and then you still have Kurt Busch, JPM, and Vickers. Plus MWR will be strong and I think Truex, Reutimann, and Ambrose could contend for a chase spot-theres just not enough room at the top right now. However I fully expect Jr to run better this year-finishing about 15th in points, then I think he will return to the Chase in 2011, JMO.

I believe he will make the chase, and probobly have a legit shot at winning the whole thing, that is if Johnson breaks his leg and ends up in the hospital, because that is the only way anyone else would win. He has made the chase before, he has legit talent, and to be honest he is ticked off. He wants to make an impact, and it shows in the way he talks about his recent struggles. With the equipment given to him, he can win. Remember, last year his car had mechanical failures numerous times. Sometimes you just get bad breaks, and for Jr., its been the last year that was the bad break. Just my two cents.
