will spx be released on time?
I really enjoyed the 08/09 SPx as I had solid luck with the product(Brassard, Oshie, Schenn, and a Rookie Jersey/Patch Spectrum in 3 boxes and 3 packs) and was wondering if anyone has any idea whether or not it will be released on the 14th as stated? I talked to the owner at my LCS today and he seemed skeptical, just wondering what you guys think?

I just fished out my Magic 8 Ball (remember those things?) and it said Very Doubtful.

Horrible design
And knowing UD, it will most likely be delayed

I am basing my opinion on the color advertisement in the most recent issue of the Beckett Multisport Monthly. The SPX Rookie Autos, which are probably the most collectible cards from this set, look like a flashback to NBA 1997, with those ugly Grizzlies jerseys/colors.
Having said that, I'm sure I'll buy a box or two to chase the Tavares or a Gretzky, but I am already bracing for the worst.

I am not adding a plus but I will concur, brutal design.
As far as delay it could either way:
Scenario 1 - Tavares has one of the UGLIEST autos EVER so if he can sign that slop quick like he does, they'll have the stickers on the cards in time.
Scenario 2 - Tavares uses his otherworldly attitude to big league UD and send the stickers back when he feels like it, delaying the product.
Either way I think SPX is a must miss this year.
