2009 Premium Error Rookie cards

Here is Press Pass's response to my question on NUTS about the error cards in question.

This is from Allison:

The 2009 Premium gold Rookie Debut and gold Win Streak cards are error cards.

We do not have any information regarding the odds of pulling one of these cards from a pack as these cards weren't planned to be inserted into product.

These cards were printed together with the Top Contenders and Finish Line cards. The Rookie Debut and Win Streak cards were to be destroyed and only the gold Top Contenders and Finish Line cards were supposed to be inserted into the product.

We can only assume that a handful of the gold parallel cards for the Rookie Debut or Win Streak cards were not destroyed and made it into product.

Thanks for the info, skippy. I've even went as far as to e-mail Tracy Hackler at Beckett. He said he was forwarding the info I received from Kirsten over to whoever was in charge of racing. Needless to say I haven't heard back from anyone at Beckett!

I went back through the NUTS 2009 Press Pass Premium box breaks and reviews to try and see if anyone noticed these in their boxes....
of the 172 boxes that were opened no one referenced any of the rookie debut or win streak "error" cards as being in them....but for the most part no one knew to look for them...so who knows with the product already 9 months out there really isn't going to be enough e-bay activity to help the research....
what is kinda sad is that obviously these are more rare than case hits but would only bring what someone is willing to pay for them...and on the open market there has to be 2 someone's to create a value...
anyway sorry I couldn't be more help but looking at that many box breaks and reading what was pulled was an endeavor !

Howdy, i have a Dale Jr #87 Gold which i traded for here, beckett must have some idea about these golds, they put a $$ on my Jr & they put a $$ on the Top Cont. Golds
Unless its a stick & ball sport question youre not getting a good answer about racing from them...
