    Good or Bad loss?

    http://cgi.ebay.com/ws/eBayISAPI.dll?ViewItem&item=400093836237&ssPageNam e=STRK:MEWAX:IT

My LCS was bidding on this for me, I really wanted it. Got outbid by a $1 in the end. I'm new to this whole eBay world but maybe it's a good thing I didn't win this auction? Maybe another will pop up and I'll get it for cheaper than 74.50$...

yeah, that excessive...the SV on a better RC #/5 is only around 15-20...

example: Koufos #4/5 that I have seen in person sold for 14.75

i would say because you're such a big knicks fan and probably wanted that card pretty badly it was a bad loss for you... BUT i would say as a buyer it was a good loss for you because you'll be able to get another one for 1/4 the price.

Koufos is no where near Gallinari you can't compare him. I watch Knicks games and ever since we drafted Gallo, heck even before we drafted him, I WANTED Eric Gordon. And since that day up to the 1st Knicks game during this season, Gallo has finally won me over. Kid's got so much talent and such a high basketball IQ. The thing is...Gallo has finally made me forget about Eric Gordon and thats pretty huge, for me at least. I guess other people are realizing it too.

I'm a pretty big Gallo fan and collector and I remember when I bought this card for $10 about a year ago. $74 is an excessive amount. His cards are going for pretty lofty prices nowadays and you will probably be able to pick one up for cheaper down the road...

I think you would be able to get that card for much much cheaper a few years down the road. UNLESS he starts to average 40 points a game, leads the Knicks to a championship and then dies in a horrific car accident never to sign cards again. . . then this would have been a bad loss for you.

It's a fair price considering his other low #d cards are going around that price, and considering the market he plays in it's expected for prices to be a bit inflated. I'd wait and snag an exquisite of his if I was you, those will almost always hold their values.
